Joseph Teres School JT's Got Talent
Calling all singers, actors, writers, dancers, artists, musicians and performers of all kinds! Joseph Teres School is excited to announce the annual Talent Show! Classroom talent shows (held during regular Music classes) will serve as an audition for the “JT’s Got Talent” school wide showcase on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. All Grade 1-5 students are welcome and encouraged to participate in classroom talent shows during their Music class on the following dates:
June 10 - Tuesday
2/1 Olafson, 2 Freiter, 1 Watchorn, 1 Taylor, 1 Shawarsky/Fordyce
Grade 5 classes
June 12 - Thursday
1 Gel, 2/1 Radawetz
3/2 Rempel, 4 Deroo, 4/3 Wutzke
Grade 3 classes
June 13 - Friday
2 Kroetsch, 2 Aquin
4 Hum, 4 Schlag/Patel, 4 Natuik
Acts will be evaluated based on the rubric below including: preparedness, stage presence, quality, creativity and appropriateness. Students must have all materials ready at the time of their classroom talent show and music (if needed) must be brought in. Music may be emailed to Mrs. Klassen at rklassen@retsd.mb.ca or Mrs. Friesen at efriesen2@retsd.mb.ca or brought in with the student on their classroom talent show date. All selected acts will be shortened to under 2 minutes for the school showcase. It is very important that all acts are school appropriate. Please make sure that all songs have appropriate language and content and that costumes and props are suitable for a school event.
Acts selected to perform at the school wide talent show will be posted on the Music Room door on Monday, June 16, 2025. We are looking forward to a great show! Please contact Mrs. Klassen or Mrs. Friesen if you have any questions.
